Clinical Experience

Madeline has a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from North Park University and is currently completing the final semester of her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bradley University. Madeline has experience working with clients in community mental health, in both group and individual settings. Along with her counseling experience, Madeline has worked in a variety of real world settings, building relationships and making space for others.

Therapeutic Approach

Madeline takes an integrative and intersectional approach to counseling, pulling from theories like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Above all, she believes that effective counseling is done in collaboration with the client and in creating a space that invites each person to be themselves. She remains committed to continued education, both within counseling and our larger social context. Madeline strives for a counseling session filled with warmth, genuine care, respect, and a little humor.

Insurance

Madeline accepts Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, and Medicare insurance and we can coordinate with your insurance provider to verify benefits prior to your first session for your convenience.
